it is a simple thought for wednesday (despite the fact that i am posting this in the wee hours of thursday)

Even in the place of hopelessness and darkness, worship is a powerful, profound experience that does great good in your soul.

To glorify God, even when you feel like you have nothing with which to glorify Him–it is centering.

There is something particularly rich about the “sacrifice” of praise.  to humble myself enough to realize that my pain is smaller that God’s goodness… and to step outside of what i *feel* to offer praise to celebrate who God is… This heals my soul in a way i can’t quite put into words.

Maybe that is the beauty of having a savior who is a “Man of sorrows and familiar with suffering”
